BetaPOS Terms of Use

These terms apply when you download or use the BetaPOS app (“the app”), made by Nanda Mochammad (“I”, “me”). By using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Apple’s terms

You get the app through Apple’s App Store. Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to your use of the app. These terms add to that agreement. If the two conflict, Apple’s agreement wins.

What you may do

You may use the app to run your own shop or business on Apple devices you own or control. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it.

What the app does and does not do

BetaPOS helps you record sales, print receipts and review your numbers. It does not process payments. When you choose cash, QRIS or transfer, the app only records that choice. The money itself moves outside the app.

Your responsibilities

• Check that prices, discounts, totals and receipts are correct before you rely on them.
• Keep the records your local tax and business rules require. BetaPOS is not an accounting or tax system.
• Keep the owner PIN private and give each cashier their own PIN. A forgotten owner PIN cannot be recovered.
• Make your own backups. Your data lives only on your iPad, so a lost, broken or reset iPad can mean lost data if you have no backup.

Printers and other hardware

The app works with 58 mm ESC/POS thermal printers over Bluetooth. I cannot promise that every printer model works, and I am not responsible for hardware made by others.

Updates and availability

I may update the app to fix problems or add features, and I may change or stop offering it. Some updates may be needed to keep using the app.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, I make no promises that it will be error free, always available or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit, lost sales or lost data, that come from using or not being able to use the app.

Ending these terms

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. If you break these terms, your right to use the app ends.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, I will update this page and the effective date at the top. Using the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
