ScanBy Terms of Use

These terms apply when you download or use the ScanBy app for Android (“the app”), made by Nanda Mochammad and published on Google Play by CV. Berkah Kreasi Nusantara (“I”, “me”). By using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Google Play’s terms
You get the app through Google Play. Google Play’s terms of service apply to your download, purchases, subscriptions and refunds. These terms add to them.
What you may do
You may use the app to scan, edit, sign and share documents on Android devices you own or control. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it.
What the app does and does not do
ScanBy turns paper into PDFs and lets you annotate, sign, organise and share them. Signatures you add are an image drawn by you. The app does not verify identity and does not create a legally certified electronic signature. Text recognition can misread a document, so check the result before you rely on it.
ScanBy Pro
Core features are free. ScanBy Pro is an optional purchase sold through Google Play, as a one-time purchase or a subscription. The price and terms are shown by Google Play before you buy. You can cancel a subscription at any time in Google Play. Cancellation and refunds follow Google Play’s rules.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your own copy of anything important. A lost device, cleared app data or an uninstall can mean lost documents, because I have no server and cannot recover them.
- If you lock a PDF with a password, remember it. ScanBy cannot recover a forgotten password.
- Only scan and share documents you have the right to handle.
Updates and availability
I may update the app to fix problems or add features, and I may change or stop offering it.
No warranty
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, I make no promises that it will be error free, always available or fit for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost documents, lost data or decisions made from scanned content, that come from using or not being able to use the app.
Ending these terms
You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. If you break these terms, your right to use the app ends.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, I will update this page and the effective date at the top. Using the app after a change means you accept the new terms.

Syarat Penggunaan ScanBy
Syarat ini berlaku saat Anda mengunduh atau memakai aplikasi ScanBy untuk Android (“aplikasi”), dibuat oleh Nanda Mochammad dan diterbitkan di Google Play oleh CV. Berkah Kreasi Nusantara (“saya”). Dengan memakai aplikasi, Anda menyetujuinya.
Syarat Google Play. Aplikasi diperoleh lewat Google Play. Syarat layanan Google Play berlaku untuk unduhan, pembelian, langganan, dan pengembalian dana Anda.
Yang boleh Anda lakukan. Memakai aplikasi untuk scan, edit, tanda tangan, dan berbagi dokumen di perangkat Android milik atau di bawah kendali Anda. Anda tidak boleh menyalin, menjual ulang, membongkar, atau mendistribusikan ulang aplikasi, kecuali diizinkan hukum.
Yang dilakukan dan tidak dilakukan aplikasi. ScanBy mengubah kertas menjadi PDF dan membantu Anda memberi anotasi, tanda tangan, mengatur, dan membagikannya. Tanda tangan adalah gambar yang Anda buat sendiri. Aplikasi tidak memverifikasi identitas dan tidak membuat tanda tangan elektronik tersertifikasi. Pembacaan teks bisa keliru, periksa hasilnya sebelum Anda mengandalkannya.
ScanBy Pro. Fitur inti gratis. ScanBy Pro adalah pembelian opsional lewat Google Play, sekali bayar atau langganan. Harga dan syarat ditampilkan Google Play sebelum Anda membeli. Langganan dapat dibatalkan kapan saja di Google Play, pembatalan dan pengembalian dana mengikuti aturan Google Play.
Tanggung jawab Anda. Simpan salinan dokumen penting. Perangkat hilang, data aplikasi dihapus, atau aplikasi dicopot dapat membuat dokumen hilang karena saya tidak punya server. Ingat password PDF yang Anda pasang, ScanBy tidak dapat memulihkannya. Scan dan bagikan hanya dokumen yang berhak Anda tangani.
Pembaruan. Saya dapat memperbarui, mengubah, atau menghentikan aplikasi.
Tanpa jaminan dan batas tanggung jawab. Aplikasi disediakan “apa adanya”. Sejauh diizinkan hukum, saya tidak menjamin aplikasi bebas kesalahan dan tidak bertanggung jawab atas kerugian tidak langsung, seperti dokumen atau data yang hilang.
Berakhirnya syarat. Anda dapat berhenti kapan saja dengan menghapus aplikasi. Jika Anda melanggar syarat ini, hak Anda memakai aplikasi berakhir.
Hukum yang berlaku. Syarat ini tunduk pada hukum Republik Indonesia.
Perubahan. Jika syarat berubah, saya akan memperbarui halaman ini dan tanggal berlaku. Memakai aplikasi setelah perubahan berarti Anda menerima syarat baru.
